Silvia Bächli

La BF15 is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Silvia Bächli. This project is an opportunity to discover the artist's productions that resonate with the art space.

Trained in the second half of the 1970s at the Basel School of Applied Arts, then at the Geneva School of Visual Art, Silvia Bächli was marked by the very fertile artistic center of Basel from the end of the 70’s to the 80’s around the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Kunsthalle. After numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and Germany, her work is recognised to a more international scale from the mid-90’s. It entered in many public collections. In 2009, she occupied the Swiss pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
